Amphithecial Cortex: Present, indistinct, eucortical, (35)-40-50-60 µm wide, basally widened, (50)-60-80-100 µm wide at the base; inspersed with oil droplets. Episamma: Without episamma. Epithecium: Apical cells slightly swollen, brownish red, insoluble in 10% KOH. Hymenium: Not inspers. Hypothecium: White; not inspers. Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, broadly ellipsoid, (9.5)-10-12-14.5-(15) µm long, (6)-6.5-7-8.5-(9) µm wide; wall thick, distinctly differentiated into primary and secondary wall, not ornamented.
