Kent State University Lichen Herbarium (KE)The Tom S. and Miwako K. Cooperrider Herbarium was founded in 1921, and currently holds approximately 81,000 accessions. The strength of the collection is primarily in flora of northeastern Ohio, but we also have a good representation of other parts of the state and of other regions of North America. Significant collections include those of T. S. Cooperrider and his students, and late 19th and early 20th century collections of Almon Rood and his contemporaries.
