Caloplaca holocarpa according to Wetmore (2007; Sonoran Flora) grows on wood; this most likely is Caloplaca (Xanthocarpia) feracissima.

It keys to Caloplaca (Athallia) holocarpa in Brodo (2016) based on a wide spore septum; C. feracissima has a narrow septum. This is consistent among all specimens I have encountered in eastern N. America. I can send you material if you would like to look at it.
