Description: Thallus: squamulose, areolate, without elongated lobes; surface: orange, smooth; Apothecia: adnate, lecanorine; disc: orange, flat; asci: 8-spored; ascospores: 2 locules, hyaline, ellipsoid; spot treat: thallus and apothechial margin K+ red.
