thallus pale greenish-grayish, thin, rimose-areolate, C- P- UV-; algae coccoid, 4-7um; apothecia red-brownish, flat to convex, exciple well-developed; epihymenium indistinct; hymenium ~40-50um, hyaline; hypothecium hyaline to ~yellowish; exciple well-developed, hyaline to ~yellowish inside, radiating branched hyphae in gel, hyphae ~1.5-2um thick; asci biatora-type; spores 8 per ascus, ellipsoid, 0(1)-septate, wall distinct, well-formed, ~15-18x3-3.5um
