thallus continuous to rimose at edge to chinky-areolate inward, white, thin at edge to thick inward, K- C- (in section apothecia too) UV- KUV+ bright ice-blue P- I+v; apothecia immersed with white-pruinose black lecideine algae-less rims; epihymenium dark brown, turning greener in K; hymenium ~55um, clear; subhymenium and hypothecium hyaline and ~inpsersed; paraphyses ~2-2.5um to ~3um at scarcely expanded tips, septate, anastomosing weakly; ascu lecidea-type?; spores scarce, hyaline, simple, ellipsoid-oblong, ~8x4um
