Habitat: small limestone talus field at foot of steep north-facing limestone cliff
Substrate: soil and moss at base of limestone cliff
Notes: thallus undulate-squamulose, concave to moderately convex, brown to faintly grayish pruinose, smooth to ~finely cracked; apothecia substipitate, gray-pruinose, marginal, discose, weakly convex; epihymenium faintly purplish red-brown, clear, turning distinctly redder in K; hymenium ~50um, upper half pigmented, ~clear; hypothecium entirely clear, densely and intricately prosoplect.; medulla POL+ weakly clearing in K; paraphyses short, contorted, capitate, pigmented dot at top, to ~6um; spores 8 per ascus, oblong, hyaline, (1)3-septate, constricted a bit at middle septum, ~16-21x3-4um
