Notes:
thallus scattered subsquamulose-areolate, areoles convex strongly waxy white-pruinose over pinkish context, K- C- KC-, apothecia inset ~round red-brown smooth, cortex ~40um paraplect. globose cells to ~4um, epicortex as much as 80um but deeply cracked to eucortex, algae continuous and even, hymenium ~100um, spores many per ascus ~8-10x3um
