Substrate: side of limestone boulder
Associated Species: Calogaya biatorina, Polysporina urceolata, Rinodina bischoffii, Staurothele drummondii, Staurothele monicae
Notes: thallus well-developed; areoles mostly ~round lumps but some becoming almost crenulate, yellow; apothecia orange with relatively thick proper margin and irregular thalline margin; parathecium to ~60-90um at top fan-shaped with distinct partial stipe; hymenium ~80um or more; paraphyses ~clavate thick septate to ~3-4um at tips; spores 8 per ascus, bent-oblong, ~narrowed at one end usually, ~18-27x5-7um
