Habitat: high open large weathered diorite outcrops on east ridge
Substrate: _Lecidella patavina_ on granite
Associated Species: Lecidella patavina, Xanthomendoza galericulata
Notes: thallus roughly pale orange areolate, areoles notched flat appressed, cortex strongly granular thin, apothecia with distinct proper and verrucose thalline margins bright orange, parathecium well-developed prosoplect., hymenium ~80um, paraphyses sparsely to rather branched toward tips and with 1-3 swollen apical cells, spores 8 per ascus ~13-14x7-9um septum ~4-5um
