Habitat: low south-facing cliffs shaded by pine forest
Substrate: basalt
Associated Species: Leprocaulon knudsenii, Neofuscelia loxodes/verruculifera, Protoparmeliopsis muralis
Notes: tiny scattered pale gray crenulate areoles, K+y, spores physcia-type with lumina inflating but apparently retaining apical thickenings somewhat swollen at septum and faintly pigmented around septum ~20-22x10-12um
