Substrate: on moss among periodically submerged rocks
Notes: broad folose dark red-brown shiny weakly wrinkled thallus, isidia laminal and marginal irregular dimpled to squamiform, apothecia rare adnate, epihymenium red-brown, hymenium ~180um hyaline, exciple brown dense globular cells, algal layer thick and continuous up to top of rims, cortex of single row of isodiametric cells ~12um long top half brown, spores 8 per ascus submuriform to muriform hyaline ~35x15um
