Notes: epicortex ~15um; cortex ~40um, subparaplect. with vertically arranged rectangular to subglobose cells ~8x5um, clear to grayish-brownish at top (K+ purplish); epihymenium bright blue-black, clear, K+ deep purple; hymenium ~75-80um, clear; hypothecium hyaline to brownish at least at top in thick sections; exciple ~55um, subparaplect. with radiating subglobose cells ~8x5um with thin walls; spores 8 per ascus, hyaline, 1-septate, peanut-shaped with broadly constricted waist, ~13x4-5um
