thallus thin light gray-green; apothecia sessile from start, red-brown to dark red brown, soon convex and margin excluded, dull; epihymenium absent; hymenium slightly brownish, POL-, ~75um; hypothecium reddish brownish, POL-, K+ more yellowish; asci porpidia-type; spores 8 per ascus, narrowly ellipsoid, all simple, ~13-15x4-5um
