Staurothele drummondii
possibly initially parasitic on Staurothele because a small S. drummondii was present; thallus pale gray, ~pruinose, areolate; areoles ~rounded, ~convex; cortex very thin, brown, ~10um or less, indistinct; algae filling most of thallus; medulla absent or black at the base in places; perithecia immersed, few per areole, black tip showing, ~200-250um wide; involucrellum only near top, less than halfway to base of perithecia, not closely appressed but not clearly diverging; spores (18)19.8-[22.2]-24.6(29)x(11)12.2-[13.4]-14.6(16)um Q=(1.2)1.4-[1.7]-2.0(2.6) N=19; conidia slightly curved, ~5-11um
