Habitat: steep N slope just below rim of sandstone mesa with pinyon-juniper woodland
Substrate: _Lecidella patavina_ on sandstone
Associated Species: Buellia cf. dispersa, Caloplaca pellodella, Lecidella patavina, Rhizocarpon disporum
Notes: thallus absent; ascomata absent with asci scattered in hymenium of host causing scant deformity; asci broadly clavate, arthonia-type with K/I+ ring just above lumina, ~30x15um; spores 8 per ascus, 1-3-septate, narrowly ovoid with one end broader than other, walls thin, epispore very thin or lacking, up to ~18x7um
