thallus forming convex rosettes, K+y C- KC+o P-; apothecia up to ~2mm, becoming convex and immarginate, pale brown to tan; cortex POL+ clearing halfway in K, prosoplect; epihymenium POL+ strong, clearing entirely in K; hymenium ~75um, clear; paraphyses thick, to ~5um; ascus no distinct K/I+ axial mass, some K/I+ blue at tip (bacidia type?); spores not seen
