Notes: cortex yellow, K+y distinct C~ KC+o weak UV- 350nm UV+y 375nm KUV+y strong P+y slow and weak; medulla mostly white and where white K- C- KC- UV- KUV- P-; apothecia briefly immersed, soon becoming sessile and constricted, rim receding, disk shiny epruinose convex red-brown; epihymenium red-brown, POL-, unchanged in K; hymenium ~80um, clear; amphithecial cortex ~25-50um indistinct, strongly granular, coarsely POL+ clearing in K; amphithecial medulla coarsely POL+ not clearing in K; spores 8 per ascus, ellipsoid to broadly ellipsoid, ~15-17x6.5-8um
