Description: Thallus aeeolate; areoles angular to round, contiguous, upper surface bleached white to various shades of yellow, glossy, convex to flat, smooth; apothecia immersed, round to angular, usually one per squabble; disc brown to reddish brown; asci +100 spored; spot test UV+ orange
