Description: Thallus placodiod, forming rosette, loosely adnate, lobate margins; lobes convex; upper surface golden yellow, somewhat rugulose; apothecia common, sessile, becomes crenulae with age; disc darker yellow than thallus; spot test K+ reddish for both the upper surface and medulla
