Thallus foliose, regular; lobes linear and discrete, partly imbricate; upper surface gray-brown, lobe ends purina, sorediate; soredia inn marginal elongated soralia, soredisa granular; medulla pale yellow; lower usurface pale tan at lobe ends, turning darker inward, rhizines black; spot tests: medulla K+ yellowish; KC+ yellow
