Description: thallus foliose; Lobes discrete, irregularly rounded, concave and ascending at the end of the lobes; rhizome visible from above; upper surface gray to gray-brown, sorediate; soredia granular to isidioid; lower surface black, rhizines numerous; apothecia not seen; all spot tests negative
