Habitat: Coastal Sand Pine Scrub on old sand dune 9 years after Hurricane Ivan crossed site; Overstory of scattered Pinus clausa; Shrub layer of Quercus geminata, Q. myrtifolia, Ceratiola ericoides; Vegetation in patches with ~50% bare sand. Lichens photographed and collected from 1-2cm diameter mid region of stem in 10 m wide clone of sand live oak (Quercus geminata). Trunk cut to obtain specimens.
Substrate: Trunk of living Quercus geminata.
