Habitat: Coniferous forest with Douglas fir, sword-fern and hemlock.
Reproductive Condition: apothecia
Notes: Substrate: bark of large Douglas fir. Apothecia .85 millimeters, stalk dark brown, head reddish, spores ellipsoid 1 septate 5 to 10, ascus 37, with algae trentepohlia. Stalk does not swell in K. Substrate: corticolous.
