Notes: thallus scurfy, superficial; algae present; apothecia irregular-wavy, 1-2-pointed, brown to pale brown on margin, margin smooth and well-developed; epihymenium pure brown; hymenium hyaline, clear, I+ blue turning red-brown slowly; exciple brown outside, hyaline inside, only walls of inner part POL+, K+y strong with a few tiny norstictic crystals; spores 8 per ascus, ellipsoid, hyaline, simple, smooth, thin-walled, avg. 14.3x5.7um Q=2.5 (12.5)13-15.7(17)x5-6.4(7)um Q=(2.1)2.3-2.8(3.0) N=20; TLC terpenoids only (JPH plate 62.03 on 20180709)
