Associated Species: Lecanora semitensis, Lepraria neglecta, Lichenothelia convexa, Rhizocarpon cookeanum, Rhizocarpon distinctum, Trapelia placodioides
Notes: thallus lacking or poorly developed scattered pale areoles, scattered yellowish waxy apothecia becoming very convex and excluding margins, K~y? C- KC+y, disks pale yellowish to slightly brownish, rims waxy smooth thick yellowish but excluding with age, epihymenium golden-brown ~POL+ clearing both pigment and granules in K, hymenium ~45-50um hyaline clear, parathecium very thick on edge producing biatorine margin of thick gelatinous elongate radiating cells with brownish POL+ granules at edge clearing entirely in K, amphithecium pushed entirely below apothecium with continuous thin algal layer and ~25um even cortex with brown POL+ granules outside clearing entirely in K, ascus clearly lecanora-type with distinct even canal all the way through, spores 8 per ascus (10.77)11.05+/-0.24(11.38)x(4.77)5.23+/-0.27(5.54)um Q=(1.97)2.12+/-0.10(2.29) N=7
