Substrate: underside of big old decorticate fallen _Pinus ponderosa_
Notes: thallus apparently immersed, apothecia small globose black (rarely grayish) dull, epihymenium dark greenish K+ mauve, hypothecium hyaline to faintly yellowish, spores all simple narrowly ellipsoid ~8x3um, pycnidia at least some black and stalked with white mass of conidia oozing out of top K+mauve pigment, conidia ~5x1-1.5um narowly ellipsoid to baciliform
