tiny flat lobes with some semi-erect marginal lobules dark ~wrinkled, abundant semi-immersed apothecia, thallus ~80um thick with single layer of isodiametric cells on both surface ~10um thick and ~relatively dense elongate cells in interior, epihymenium brownish, exciple dark red-brown isodiametric cells grading into normal cortex below, hymenium 200um hyaline, no medulla below apothecia, rims 80um thick, spores 8 per ascus hyaline ellipsoid muriform ~40x15um
