Associated Species: Acarospora fuscata, Caloplaca epithallina, Candelariella vitellina, Lecidea protabacina, Rhizocarpon disporum, Rhizoplaca melanophthalma, Sphaerellothecium abditum, Sporastatia testudinea, Umbilicaria polaris
Notes: thallus minutely rimose-areolate, strongly rusty orange; medulla POL- I- K/I-; apothecia between areoles, black, thick-rimmed, lecideine; epihymenium gray, K-, clear; hymenium ~70-75um, clear, I+ K/I+b; hypothecium hylaine; paraphyses anastomising; asci K/I~v pale without structure; spores hyaline, ellipsoid, smooth, simple, ~12-13x6-8um
