Notes: thallus K+y; apothecia constricted, flexuose; rim whiter than thallus, thick, flexuose, smooth; disk lightly pruinose; epihymenium dark brown to faintly olive, POL-, turning paler and slightly more olive in K; hymenium ~60um; cortex strongly granular, POL+, not clearing in K, ~25um above to ~50um or more below; medulla strongly POL+ milky clearing almost entirely in K; spores ~13-14x7-8um
