Locality: United States, Florida, Bay, St. Andrew's Bay State Park; on old sand dune about 200 m north of St. Andrew's Pass and 770 m northeast of the Gulf of Mexico.

Habitat: Coastal Sand Pine Scrub on old sand dune not recently directly affected by a hurricane or burned. Overstory of scattered Pinus clausa, midstory of Quercus geminata, & Shrub layer with Q. geminata, Q. myrtifolia, Ceratiola ericoides, occasional Serenoa repens; Vegetation cover about 80% with 20% bare sand.
Substrate: at base of rosemary
Notes: Recollection of lichens from William J. Platt Sand Pine Study Plot #2 at St. Andrew's Bay State Park first sampled in 1992. Storm surge of Hurricane Dennis (2005) briefly flooded plot.
