On bark of trunk of small dead Qurecus geminata in Plot 2. 1 m above ground. Small lichen with tips of podetia about 10-12 mm above bark. In open with no canopy.

Locality:
United States, Florida, Bay, St. Andrew's Bay State Park; on old sand dune about 200 m north of St. Andrew's Pass and 770 m northeast of the Gulf of Mexico.
Habitat:
Coastal Sand Pine Scrub on old sand dune not recently directly affected by a hurricane or burned. Overstory of scattered Pinus clausa, midstory of Quercus geminata, & Shrub layer with Q. geminata, Q. myrtifolia, Ceratiola ericoides, occasional Serenoa repens; Vegetation cover about 80% with 20% bare sand.
