Locality: United States, Florida, Okaloosa, Eglin Air Force Base. Niceville Topographic Quad. Northern branch of Little Rocky Creek. From S.R. 285 and RR 434, follow RR 434 W. for ca. 0.5 mile. Follow jeep trail (W. of clay pit) S. to road ends at Little Rocky Creek.

Habitat: Outcrops of Limonite ("ironstone") occur N. and S. of road. A large assemblage of bryophytes, and lichens occur on the SW side of these large boulders.
