The Bergius Herbarium includes specimens of angiosperms, gymnosperms, algae, bryophytes, fungi and lichens, including some type specimens. Important collectors are C.P. Thunberg, M. Grubb, D. Rolander, P. Osbeck, C.H. Wänman, C.G. Ekeberg, and O. Swartz.
