Habitat: South-facing slope; forest dominated by Tsuga canadensis, Liriodendron tulipfera, Quercus alba. On upward side of roughly horizontal limb of T. canadensis, 10m from ground. 0.75m out from trunk on branch. Branch inclination -18° from horizontal, with axis diameter of 11.3cm. South-facing side of tree.
