Coastal Sand Pine Scrub on old sand dune not recently affected by a hurricane or burned; Overstory of scattered Pinus clausa, midstory and understory trees of Quercus geminata & some Q.myrtifolia, Shrub layer sparse, with Quercus geminata, Q. myrtifolia, Ceratiola ericoides, occasional Serenoa repens; Vegetation cover about 75% with 25% bare sand.
