Habitat: Coastal Sand Pine Scrub on old sand dune not recently affected by a hurricane; Overstory of dense Pinus clausa, understory trees of Quercus geminata, Shrub layer of Quercus geminata, Q. myrtifolia, Vaccinium arboreum & V. stamineum, Serenoa repens; Vegetation continuous with 5% bare sand.
