Sand ridge complex densely forested with Pinus virginiana and sparse Carya and Quercus, Cladonia rangiferina & Cladonia subtenuis dominant, small relict openings with mixed hardwoods (Acer, Carya, Quercus) and wet areas with Ilex opaca.
On the bark of an oak (Quercus).
